Child Safety Statement

Our commitment to creating a secure and encouraging learning space for children.

Our Commitment to Safety

At KABE Learning, we teach children aged 5–10. We take the safety and protection of our students seriously. This statement outlines our rigorous safeguarding procedures.

1. Teacher Selection and Vetting

Every single teacher who works with KABE Learning undergoes a strict onboarding and verification process:

  • Background Checks: A mandatory criminal record check and child protection registry check before hiring.
  • Identity Verification: Direct passport/government identity and teaching qualification verification.
  • Reference Checks: Verification of past professional experience with children.
  • Interviews: Structured evaluations assessing warm pedagogical style and child safety awareness.

2. Safe Online Classroom Protocols

To keep online learning spaces secure, we enforce the following rules:

  • Private Meeting Links: Lessons use Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. Meeting details are shared directly with the parent and should not be posted publicly.
  • Session Audits: Random lesson recordings are reviewed by our quality management team to monitor teaching quality and child safety standards.
  • Parent-Led Communication: Scheduling, meeting links, and lesson coordination go through parents rather than directly through a child's personal account or social media.

3. Safe Spaces for Learning

We advise parents to set up learning devices in open rooms (like study rooms, kitchens, or family rooms) rather than closed private bedrooms. This maintains transparency and a positive academic environment.

4. Reporting and Concerns

If you ever have any feedback, questions, or concerns about a tutor's communication or behavior, please notify our safety officer immediately at safety@kabelearning.com. We take all feedback seriously and investigate immediately.
